Triples with object Today UKIP voted against the Ayuso report on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). This vote was not about CITES itself. We support the objectives of the CITES convention. This vote was about enhancing the status of the European Commission within the CITES structure which we are not prepared to support. We are also against the related budgetary implication.
