Triples with object Labour MEPs voted today to oppose an increase in the EU budget for 2017 - we believe the first resort should be finding money for EU priorities within existing budget lines. We remain committed to the principle of prioritising the jobs and economic growth agenda whether inside or outside of the European Union and hope to continue close cooperation with our neighbours as a means of protecting the UK economy.
