Triples with object It is essential that EU expenditure is closely scrutinised on the basis of value for money for taxpayers and I do not believe the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund is an efficient tool that offers value for money in terms of reintegrating redundant workers back into the labour market. The United Kingdom Government has never availed itself of funding under the EGF due to its inefficiency and I believe it is time that money spent under the EGF was put to better use. For these reasons I cannot support this report.
