Triples with object I voted in favour of the Value Added Tax Directive because it will give continued clarity over VAT payments within the internal market. We need to continue to make tax requirements as simple as possible to encourage new and small businesses to flourish. Labour MEPs will engage fully with the Commission’s forthcoming review of VAT legislation to make sure that any new VAT regime reflects our values and priorities.
