"Well, you say a minority but, of course, a majority voted in the United Kingdom to leave the European Union. If you want to know why we are still here, I think that is a question that should be put to Theresa May and to the British Government, which still has not got round to invoking Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. It is not our fault that the Government is dragging its heels, and it is not our fault that the Government is taking so long, but every day that we are still here, we are still paying into the EU budget. We have recently talked in this House about guidelines for the 2018 EU budget. We are going to be paying for that through our taxes, and so of course we have a right to have our say."@en1
