"This report responds to the price volatility in agricultural markets that can threaten the financial security of smallholder farmers. I supported the report where it critically assessed current CAP intervention methods and I support improving the terms of trade for farmers, for example, when they are dealing with the big supermarkets that buy their products. However, I voted against the parts of the report which seek to increase CAP spending."@en1
