lpv:spoken text	"Today I voted against the PSO regulation which is part of the 4th Railway Package. As shown by our current rail crisis, too much emphasis on private operators running our railways is letting down train passengers. These new laws undermine fair terms and conditions for railway staff and staffing standards overall and will not benefit passengers. The regulations potentially conflict with Labour Party policy to bring rail franchises under public ownership. I am opposed to the mandatory competitive tendering of rail franchises which could prevent a future Labour government from providing the best train services to my constituents across the East of England."@en1
