"Mr President, I would like to congratulate you on your five-year term. I also rise under Rule 11(2). Mr Verhofstadt, according to the financial report, has three jobs that pay him EUR 1 000 to 5 000 per month and a further job that pays him EUR 10 000 per month. So for Mr Verhofstadt, it is Christmas every day. Now we all know that Mr Verhofstadt is a master of the universe, a Superman, but how can he do all these jobs and be the European Parliament’s Brexit negotiator? This does not respect the dignity of Parliament and is incompatible with the dignity of Parliament, as per Rule 11(2). I must ask for a ruling on this."@en1
