lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the IORP II Directive because it is essential that we have a properly functioning pensions system in place – including state pensions, workplace pensions and private provision – to ensure that people are well looked-after in retirement. The directive ensures that pension schemes are well-run and well-regulated, and that ordinary members of pension schemes have vital information about how their money is being spent and what they can hope to receive after they retire. And pension schemes will also now have to make sure they are investing for the long term, considering the social and environmental implications of their investments, which is a major step forward."@en1
