lpv:spoken text	"Artemis Joint Undertaking (JU) was a public-private partnership in the field of embedded systems technology. In 2014, it was replaced by the ECSEL JU following a merger with the ENIAC JU. In April of this year, the plenary voted to postpone discharge for Artemis, with the rapporteur citing that additional reassurances were needed from ECSEL, the successor JU, concerning the implementation of national procedures to ensure the legality and regularity of transactions. The S&D Group voted in favour of discharge in April. Since then, the JU has provided additional reassurances and the rapporteur proposes to grant discharge this time. Joint Undertakings bring together industry and research bodies in public-private partnerships to support research, new technology and demonstration activities, and to accelerate the market introduction of specific technologies. Domains covered include air traffic control, carbon-lean energy, nanotechnology, computing technology, cleaner aviation technologies and nuclear fusion. Our Group supports the JUs in their many areas of work, which is of clear benefit to EU citizens."@en1
