lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this resolution that concerns EU legislation to regulate the content of industrially produced TFAs in foodstuffs. Scientific evidence shows that TFAs can lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, infertility, endometriosis, gallstones, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, obesity and some cancers. Unfortunately, labelling measures have failed to be effective as only one in three consumers in the EU have knowledge about TFAs. Action must be taken to raise awareness through the education system and media campaigns. This resolution calls on the Commission to collaborate with the Member States with a view to increasing nutritional literacy, encouraging and enabling consumers to make healthier food choices and engaging with the industry to encourage the healthy reformulation of their products."@en1
