The amendments which the ALDE group proposed sought to stress the importance for growth to continue modernising economies and improving business environment. Moreover, key ALDE points such that measures should be taken to improve the business environment to incentivise investment and that a fully integrated EU labour market should be created, have been rejected in the vote in committee. However, there is a reference to the Commission Communication advocating flexibility in the Stability and Growth Pact, which I fully support and I voted in favour of this amendment."@en1
