lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the report on statistics on goods transport by inland waterway. Parliament sought to extend the scope of the regulation to include passenger transport. To test the viability of widening the scope, the Commission has agreed to launch voluntary pilot studies for the collection of relevant passenger data. Pending the results of those studies the Commission will consider whether to amend the regulation to cover passenger services. Parliament has also limited, and given a better definition of, the powers conferred on the Commission by delegated and implementing acts."@en1
