lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, extradition has been around for centuries – millennia even. Ramesses II of Egypt signed the first extradition treaty all the way back in 1259 BC. I believe that extradition treaties work. I have concerns, though, about the European Arrest Warrant, which had led to certain miscarriages of justice in the United Kingdom. However, I am very much in favour of legal aid because money should never be a barrier to justice for anyone. I am also concerned, though, that these are matters for Member States to decide, in terms of who should and should not be granted legal aid. So, with these conflicting concerns and because I feel that there should always be proper evidence before any extradition is granted, I felt it appropriate in this case to abstain."@en1
