"I would like to thank my colleague for his question. He asked a very interesting question, and I understand that at this moment in time the Commissioner is preparing a response directly looking at all the different negotiations and trade deals that they are making. I have asked the Commission this particular point from the Agriculture Committee's point of view: how many deals can we do without totally destroying that which we are producing within the European context?
I think the sooner we see that, what not only TTIP, CETA and all the other trade deals that are in the offing – Australia and New Zealand are out there at the moment. So there is many trade deals that are out there to happen, and that is a very worrying thing. But we need to know the effects. How much more can Europe absorb with these trade deals?"@en1
