My colleagues and I have long been calling for a revision of the Posting of Workers Directive to fight social dumping effectively and ensure fair competition. We need to codify the principle of ‘equal pay for equal work in the same place’, and to that end it is pleasing that Commission President Juncker reaffirmed his commitment to this principle in his recent State of the European Union address."@en1
