lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this protocol to the Agreement between the EU and Switzerland in relation to the free movement of people following the accession of Croatia. This agreement gives the citizens of both the EU and Switzerland the right to enter, live and work in the respective territories by mutually abolishing the majority of restrictions. However to do so an employment or service contract or sufficient financial resources are necessary. This agreement does not automatically extend to new Member States once they join and so must be amended by a protocol. There is a transitional period of seven years, with the possibility of a further three years, from the time the protocol comes into force in which access for Croatian citizens can be limited but this period also applies to Swiss citizens entering Croatia. Both Croatia and Switzerland will benefit from access to a larger internal market to which free movement is integral."@en1
