"Thank you, Mr Tannock, for your question. Northern Ireland did indeed vote to remain, but I am very proud to be part of the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom as a whole voted to leave the European Union and I respect and admire the decision of the rest of my fellow country people. In Northern Ireland we have a situation where Northern Ireland will be the only part of the United Kingdom that does have a land border with another European Member State, and that in itself will pose a challenge. I am confident that as we had the Common Travel Area, for example, before we belonged to the European Union, we will be able to manage that border so that the progress we have made will not stop."@en1
