"The EU has done important work in the fields of social and environmental standards, human rights and corporate responsibility. This report notes however that there is still much to do. It is a pity that the UK has voted to exempt itself from future progress, as the rightward drift of Westminster politics is unlikely to keep up with the EU. This is yet another reason why it is essential for Scotland to retain its place in Europe."@en1
