Sadly, what tends to happen is that poverty is cyclical, being ‘passed on’ to the next generations. I voted in favour of this report, and with colleagues in my Socialist group call for the use of EU funds to invest in social infrastructure such as childcare and better work/life arrangements, and to ensure that women can join or stay in the job market."@en1
