lpv:spoken text	"My colleagues and I voted in favour of this report which importantly highlights the potential of virtual currencies and distributed ledger technology (DLT) in various areas. These include lowering costs in cross-border transfers of funds, allowing for easier access to finance for people without bank accounts and the ability to develop secure online micropayment systems. The risks of virtual currencies are also addressed. Overall, I believe this report to be well balanced and it does not advocate measures which would regulate virtual currencies and DLT out of existence."@en1
