lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, the 2030 Agenda is a global framework which was introduced in 2015 to help eradicate poverty and achieve sustainable development by 2030. The goals set out in this agenda are ones that this Parliament has long been committed to achieving. It is of great importance that this Union sets out a sustainable development strategy that encompasses all the goals, targets and global indicators set out in the 2030 Agenda, which all Member States have committed to implementing. I am pleased and proud to say that the negotiations for the 2030 Agenda were co-facilitated by the Irish Permanent Representative to the United Nations. So Ireland has long since committed to these sustainable development goals and the 2030 Agenda, and fully supports further implementation of these goals within the Union."@en1
