"I voted in favour of this report that highlights the importance of the new tools available within cohesion policy for the period 2014-2020 on Community Led Local Development and Integrated Territorial Investments. I fully support and welcome the creation of the new CLLD instrument, which has gone beyond the LEADER initiative to empower local communities and provide specific local solutions, not only via EAFRD, but also via the other ESI Funds. CLLD offers possibilities for urban areas and should be an integral part of wider urban development strategies, including through cross-border cooperation."@en1
