"I have voted in favour of this report whose greatest achievement was to bring the Groups together and ensure that the European Investment Bank – the EIB – can provide consistent and complementary support with its investment programmes of the European Structural and Investment Funds and other public funds. The report calls on the EIB to implement and further develop the EFSI in close cooperation with the Council. I am happy that this report seeks to prioritise the promotion of youth employment, innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises, enhance environmental sustainability and action on climate change, to name just a few."@en1
