lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this motion for a resolution. It calls on the Commission to mobilise EUR 10 million for research on the Zika virus in order to strengthen the laboratory capacity to confirm suspected Zika virus infections and to differentiate Zika virus infections from other arboviral infections as well as to prove the possible causal link between Zika virus and microcephaly. It further calls on Member States to increase awareness of clinicians and travel health clinics about the evolution of the Zika virus epidemic and the affected areas, and to include Zika virus infection in their differential diagnosis for travellers from those areas."@en1
