"Mr President, I attended a meeting on Monday night with the Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr Hogan, I am here today, and there is no doubt about it: there is actually a growing awareness of the crisis, but there are no solutions for the crisis. So I have three questions for Commissioner Hahn to answer. Firstly, is the agricultural sector – we are talking about the pig sector now, but I refer to the agricultural sector in general – carrying the can for the rest of Europe on the Russian bans? Secondly, what prospects are there, short-term, medium-term and long-term, for growing our markets outside the European Union? Thirdly, what efforts are being made to grow our sales within Europe and indeed abroad, especially in view of what the previous speaker said about moves to turn people off eating meat because of all sorts of strange contradictory surveys that come out almost daily?"@en1
