"Well, in terms of the social elements, much more could have been done within the articles to reinforce the importance of that issue – for example to mention the social dialogue. Although the social dialogue stakeholders think that this could have been worse and they say that overall it could be negotiated on, they are still not entirely happy. If you look at their previous positions about what they wanted, this is not what they wanted and they could quite happily live without it. I think there are very real concerns on that.
In terms of the European added value, at least we are talking about the issues and that raises awareness, but I think that is as far as it goes."@en1
