Croatia joined the EU in 2013 and this recommendation concerns the date by which it is to accede to the Convention on the Protection of the European Communities’ Financial Interests. All other EU countries are parties to this Convention already and Croatia already agreed to ratify it when negotiating its membership of the EU. The recommendation is for the date to be set in the Council, where Croatia has a voice on the matter itself."@en1
