lpv:spoken text	"I share in my colleagues’ concern regarding the situation of asylum seekers and refugees coming from Libya and North Africa, and I support this resolution’s call for more action to be taken by the Libyan authorities, European Member States and the EEAS to address the resulting humanitarian needs and the need for safety. I wish to emphasise that refugees and asylum seekers on their way to or arriving in Europe must be treated humanely, with their dignity respected and their needs addressed. I call on the Libyan and European authorities alike to ensure the facilities and services provided to take in refugees, asylum seekers and migrants meet these standards."@en1
