lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this GUE/NGL resolution which objected to the inclusion of the Kyrgyz Republic in the EU’s Generalised Scheme of Tariff Preferences. GSP beneficiary countries benefit from tariff preferences under arrangements with the EU and the status is given to developing countries vulnerable due to a lack of diversification and insufficient integration with the international trading market. Countries can only benefit from GSP if they have signed up to and ratified core international conventions on human rights and labour rights. Although the Kyrgyz Republic has done this on its face, the Committee Against Torture and International Labour Organisation have listed it as one of the countries most failing its obligations. There are numerous instances of human rights violations including legislation against the LGBT community, torture and ill treatment by the criminal justice system, deaths in custody and threats against human rights defenders."@en1
