"Mr Batten, I was brought up to be tolerant to those more elderly and to have respect for the elderly, and I can understand why your memory fails you. You certainly do not remember the details of the 1975 referendum and actually, you may not remember some press reports last week in the UK media that in fact said that David Cameron, the Prime Minister, is looking at ideas on how to reassert the supremacy of the British Parliament. Maybe it is your listening skills. But what I would say to you, Mr Batten, is please, at the end of the day, whatever your view, we have plenty of time for the debate, at the end of the day it is the British people who will decide whether to stay or to leave the EU."@en1
