It also means that our small and local businesses are competing on a level playing field. Being part of a market with half a billion consumers is one of the biggest benefits we get from being in the EU. By developing and enforcing strong rules for fair competition we ensure more innovation, more opportunity, and ultimately a better deal for British citizens and consumers."@en1
