"On 9 September 2015, Mr Czesław Adam Siekierski had been caught speeding in Poland, and given that the Polish constitution provides that Deputies and Senators must not be subject to criminal accountability without the consent of their respective chamber – in this case the European Parliament – I have voted in favour of waiving the immunity of Mr Sierkierski.
