lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of setting up a European Parliament committee of enquiry on this issue. The committee intends to investigate the Commission’s role in the scandal. UKIP fully support anything which will hold accountable the unelected EU Commission. However the committee also intends to investigate Member States and national authorities. While we do not support the legitimacy of EU bodies investigating Member States, it may shine a light on wrongdoing by our own government. UKIP will oppose any recommendations made by the committee which call for more EU powers, legislation or harmonisation."@en1
