The recent impact of China’s Black Monday on the stock market and the impact on our industry of Chinese dumping, not least in the UK steel and ceramics sectors, including in my region of the West Midlands, show that its financial and economic policies should also be firmly on our radar. Acting as a block, the EU can help ensure that the interests of these key sectors in member states are promoted and protected."@en1
