lpv:spoken text	"Whilst I am strongly in favour of tackling tax fraud, I cannot support this report, calling as it does for a common consolidated corporate tax base and infringing on Member State sovereignty over tax policy. I am fundamentally opposed to harmonisation of corporate tax rates in the EU; nation states should be able to decide their own tax rates as best suited to their national economies. The fight against tax fraud needs to be focused through the OECD and the G20; the EU should be rigorously following their work in exchanging information to detect fraud. For these reasons I cannot support this report."@en1
