lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this motion for a resolution because I agree that the Commission implementing regulation adopting a list of invasive species needs to be reconsidered. Many of the most problematic invasive alien species are not listed, while some species are incapable of causing a significant negative impact on biodiversity, the ecosystem, human health or the economy. For example, as one constituent has pointed out to me, the water hyacinth would not be able to survive in the climate of the West Midlands and as such I would need further convincing as to why it may be included in the invasive species list. Hence, I join this call on the Commission to withdraw this draft implementing regulation and consult again stakeholders and the general public."@en1
