"I voted to support this report because I approve the Council draft. I also agree that the Commission should assess the situation, after the entry into force of the new Europol Regulation, of the provisions contained in the cooperation agreement, in particular on data protection. Lastly I agree the Commission should inform Parliament and the Council of the outcome of this assessment and, if appropriate, submit a recommendation for an authorisation to open international renegotiation of the agreement."@en1
