"This report notes that offshore wind in the North Sea has the potential to generate 8% of Europe’s power supply by 2030, and much of this capacity is in Scottish waters. Scotland, however, has to operate within an irrational UK energy framework and transmission charges are prohibitively high for Scottish producers.
