lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this resolution as the accession of Ecuador to the trade agreement with Colombia and Peru would be another decisive step forward in the alliance with important like-minded and fast-growing countries in a region that is turning more and more to Asia and the Pacific. The accession of Ecuador to the EU-Peru and Colombia Trade Agreement matches the ambitions of both the EU and Ecuador. The Ecuadorian Government has invested USD 40.8 billion in the social sector in areas such as education, healthcare and social security over the past eight years, with specific programmes targeted at assisting the most vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly and the disabled."@en1
