"I supported this proposal as it seeks to improve regulation in the retail insurance market. Crucially it aims to ensure a level playing field between all participants involved in the selling of insurance products and also attempts to strengthen policyholder protection. Under this new proposal both consumers and retail investors buying insurance products will benefit from greater transparency with better and more comprehensible information."@en1
