"Colleagues, I want to bring to your attention two very serious incidents which occurred. We want as a Parliament to express our concern and sympathies to those who have been affected, so thank you for your silence.
On Friday, 30 October, a terrible fire broke out at a nightclub in Bucharest, where up to 400 people, mostly in their teens and early twenties, had gathered to attend a concert. The death toll has risen to at least 46 people and about 100 are still in hospital, many in a serious condition. Our thoughts and our sympathies are with the families and the friends of the victims.
We are also very deeply distressed by the news that a Russian airliner crashed in central Sinai, killing 224 people, and again we offer our sympathies to the victims’ families and to the Russian people."@en1
