I voted in favour of this legislation because it will ensure to a greater extent that the EU is not complicit in torture or capital punishment. EU companies must not be able to profit from torture, whether knowingly or unknowingly. The new measures in this legislation will improve the speed and efficiency of reacting to suspected transactions."@en1
