lpv:spoken text	"I warmly welcome this report. The ‘Anti-torture Regulation’ contributes to the long standing EU policy of eliminating death penalty worldwide, and of preventing torture. It helps achieve these goals by combining prohibitions with licensing requirements for trade in listed goods. It governs a ban of trade in ‘single-use’ torture and execution items and related technical assistance and an authorisation system for ‘multi-purpose’ items that could be misused for torture and executions by lethal injections."@en1
