lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the application for EGF assistance by the Italian authorities for EUR 1 414 848 following the redundancy of 1 249 workers from Gruppo Alitalia. With a decline in the Union’s market share and a huge increase in the number of passengers carried by third country international carriers the air transport sector and EU companies such as Alitalia have been heavily affected. I welcome the authorities´ proposals for a package of personalised services which will include intake and skill assessment, active job search support, training, reimbursement of mobility costs, and particularly the hiring benefits for over 50s which will provide incentives for this marginalised group. However I note that just 184 (14.7%) of the 1,249 affected workers are to be targeted by the proposed measures which is a very low percentage of eligible redundant employees."@en1
