lpv:spoken text	"I voted against the Commission Work Programme 2016, as I cannot accept its content, specifically its pursuit of a counter-productive agenda on the migration crisis, which will only make matters worse by failing to account for those refugees who are in other parts of the globe, away from EU Member States, or adjoining countries. This programme covers areas which should be dealt with directly by the Member States rather than from a European Union dimension, as a whole. I did however abstain on Paragraph 101, part 2,as I fully support the concept of assistance to genuine refugees, in accordance with the 1951 Geneva Convention on refugees."@en1
