lpv:spoken text	"I was pleased to vote for this report which looks in detail at the ways to achieve a more extensive, efficient and environmentally-friendly public transport system across the European Union for citizens and businesses alike. This includes an important recognition that cities that have developed an integrated transport plan should be allocated EU structural funds to aid in the realisation of more forward looking transportation integration. This report also recognises the importance of incorporating the needs of disabled people and those with reduced mobility, to ensure that public transport can meet the needs of those it is intended to serve. Furthermore, the role of the Trade Union movement in the development of public transportation plans was also recognised, this preserves the dignity of those who serve the public by staffing our networks."@en1
