lpv:spoken text	"The year 2012 was designated as the ‘European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations’. The report concerns the implementation, results, and an assessment of it and solidarity between generations. Through their employment protection legislation and systems of wage formation Member States should support the recruitment of older workers especially before their statutory retirement age, as unemployment would have further negative effects on their retirement income. In order to guarantee that solidarity between generations is maintained, I voted in favour to ensure that older unemployed generations who find it increasingly difficult to reintegrate in the labour market are not left alone."@en1
