lpv:spoken text	"I supported the EPP alternative resolution which acknowledges the importance of the European Citizen’s Initiative and the role it plays in the democratic process, recognising the right to affordable water, support for access to water for vulnerable groups and the need for investment in water services, while respecting the subsidiarity principle providing Member States with the freedom to choose their water management systems. I abstained on the Boylan report on Right2Water, while supporting many elements of the report, including applying a progressive charge proportional to the amount of water used (paragraph 92). I support keeping references to TTIP in the text even though the Commission has pointed out that no trade agreement to date has restricted Member States from regulating water services as they choose, and TTIP will be no different."@en1
