lpv:spoken text	"I was very happy to support my colleague´s report on an integrated approach to cultural heritage for Europe. Although largely a Member State competence there are a range of EU supportive measures including significant EU funding from programmes such as Creative Europe, the European Regional Development Fund or Horizon 2020. Although faced with the challenges of globalisation and reduced funding there is huge potential for cultural heritage to contribute to growth and job creation. The report’s proposals to have 2018 designated the European year of Cultural Heritage and to set up of a single EU portal to collect information from all the EU programmes funding cultural heritage will raise awareness and provide a more integrated and supportive approach for those working in the area."@en1
